MONAT Heavenly Hydrating Masque REVIEW

MONAT Heavenly Hydrating Masque REVIEW

To me, the only thing heavenly is the feeling of your hair after you’ve washed it out. The rest of the experience is hell.

When describing the smell of the so called ‘Heavenly’ Hydrating masque – I came up with a few ideas.

  1. Smells like a man on a bus travelling to his poorly paying office job. The only way he can wear the same shirt for the whole week is to marinade himself in bad cologne
  2. Smells like a teenage boy who hasn’t learned the art of ‘less is more’
  3. Smells like the toilet room after someone took a dump then didn’t have an air freshener so used a can of some cheap horrible man spray that was at the back of the bathroom cupboard since old uncle Al paid a visit. He’s been using the same cheap cologne since any one can remember.

In saying that, I can’t deny the results I got when using this terrible smelling product. It was the most shiny and soft my hair has ever been. Which is so freaking annoying because I have to either sacrifice the rest of my day with a migraine just to use the Heavenly Hydrating Masque OR I settle for something just as amazing using the Replenish Masque or Super Moisture Masque.

When adding a few drops of Rejuvaniqe oil to the other MONAT masques I get much the same results without the headache.

So the product gets a fair score because I can’t deny the long term benefits or the noticeable results anyone can get with this product – if you can get past the smell of it.
